"Telegraph Herald February 18, 2000 - Rosemary B. Reisen, 71, of Nicholasville, Ky., formerly of Platteville, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lexington, Ky. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville, with the Rev. Charles Schluter officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. She was born on Nov. 4, 1928, in Dickeyville, daughter of George and Theresa (Averkamp) Hartung. Following graduation, she worked as a secretary at the Vinegar Hill Mine and then at Montgomery Ward store in Platteville. She then worked as a teller at several horse race tracks and was currently working at Keeneland Race Park, Lexington, Ky. She was a member of Pax Christie Catholic Church, Nicholasville. Surviving are three children, Donna (George) Harbour, of Lynchburg, Va., Sharon (Timothy) Rutherford, of Proctorville, Ohio, Cathy Chapman, of Belle, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Todd, George III and Andrea Harbour, and Tiffany Rutherford, Briania and Joshua Chapman; a great-granddaughter, Marley; a sister, Lorraine (Richard) Van Sant, of Nekoosa; three brothers, Wilfred (Patricia) Hartung, of Platteville, Eugene Hartung, of Livingston, and Robert (Rita) Hartung, of Nathrop, Colo.; and an aunt, Rosaline (Anton) Bichler, of Mineral Point. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Florence Meyer and Mary Hartung, in infancy; and three brothers, Cletus and Linus Hartung, and one in infancy."
