Donna Marie Boswell, 59, a resident of Oberlin for several years, died April 1, 2008, at the Norton County Hospital. She was born July 11, 1948, in Colby, the daughter of Bernard and Evelyn (Orr) Meitl, She grew up on a farm north of Leoville and attended the Leoville school. She married Don Quakenbush on Oct. 21, 1966, in Leoville. They divorced in 1992. She later married Robert Boswell in Oberlin, on Nov. 23, 1996. She had lived in several communities and states, including Iowa, Goodland, Leoville, Hays, Dodge City, Selden, Belleville and Wichita, before moving to Oberlin in 2003. She had been a seamstress, nursing assistant, and had worked construction. Survivors include: her mother, Evelyn Meitl, Oberlin; three sons, Dwayne and Sherry Quakenbush, Oberlin, Terry and Kindra Quakenbush, Fort Campbell, Ky., and Mickeal Quakenbush, Oberlin; a daughter, Debby Sigwing, Norton; a step-daughter, Annette and Steven Epstein, Northridge, Calif.; four brothers, David and Janet Meitl and Ed Meitl, all of Dresden; Dan and Jennifer Meitl, North Platte, Neb.; and Alvin Meitl, Salina; five sisters, Pauletta and Tony Bieker, Menlo; Pat and Ron Gray, Wichita; Betty McDowell, Prattville, Ala.; Rose and Ken Chancellor, McCook; and Mary Kinser, Jennings; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and one step-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Robert; a son,

two grandchildren, Aaron Phillips and Kristina Quakenbush; a brother, Larry Meitl, a brother-in-law, Tim Kinser, and a sister-in-law, Naomi Meitl. A memorial service was held Tuesday afternoon at Enfield Funeral Home in Norton. with inurnment

in the Belleville Cemetery.
