Obviously the exact date may vary. ------------ Note: the following is transcribed as best as possible from the microfilmed image of the original obituary. Some of the wording did not microfilm well, so it is possible that the text below is not 100% 'original', but done as close to the original text as possible by this contributor: The Fairfield Ledger Thurs., Sept. 6, 1855. DIED —In Fairfield, on the 28th ult., of dysentery, Mrs. Mary Ann Huston, in the 32d year of her age. Mrs. H. was born in Ireland, where in youth she cast her cares upon upon (sic) a Divine and Faithful Savior. During the few years of her residence in this land of her adoption, she verified in her experience the precious promise - "Yea, I am with you." The circle of her acquaintance was limited; but those who were most conversant with her manner of life, were impressed with the conviction that her habits were those of an experience of Christian - that her spiritual mindedness (sic. microfilm image not clear) .... converse with God. Always in the house of God and the place of prayer, at the appointed season, her chosen delights were those of one who was greatly weaned from earth, and whose best and sweetest endearments were in Heaven. Her bereaved husband and friends, while mourning her early departure from earth's companionship, are cheered by a refreshing hope that she was "also ready," and has joined the society of kindred spirits around the throne of God and the Lamb.
