Margaret Downey listed as having the following children: Mary Ann Downey-Hanrahan b. 1820 James Morgan Downey b. 1821 Thomas Nicholas Downey b. 1824 Lovinia J Downey-Conley Margaret J Downey-Thumb William Seymore Downey b. 1830 Electa C. Downey b. 1832 John J Downey b. 1834 Henry Downey b. 1838 Harriet S. Downey-Kramer b. 1839 Hiram C Downey b. 1844 A lot of this was from Census records, but the MOST helpful source I had was both William and his brother, Thomas' wills from Erie Records. From a film at my local Family History Library, William listed all of his children, and further listed the heirs of Margaret & James who were deceased at the time. In the files for his estate there was also a list of where his heirs were living at the time. This allowed me to find those people in the census' for those locations, and discover their families as well. As you may know, William also married Jane Mc Mullenin 1868 (found in the church records for St. Teresa Church in Akron NY), but they didn't have any children together from what I could tell.I hope this helps.
