Sailed to Guilford, CT with the Bushnells. Most settlers of New England previous to 1700 came first to the Massachusetts colonies. Considered one of the first saw-mill owners in the Saybrook colony. Saybrook was founded in 1635, the oldest town in CT. It is were Yale was founded (1701) and where the Pequot Indian War began.A church freeman (person who partook of the sacrament). Moved to Saybrook, CT with wife Sarah and father-in-law Deacon Francis Bushnell.
