Adel: Seit 1728 wird der Adel den Papes von den Lehnsherren, Behördenin Lehnsbriefen pp. beigelegt, auch in den Kirchenbüchern. Worauf dieseszurückzuführen ist, konnte

nicht ermittelt werden.

Nach Spittler, Geschichte des Fürstentums Hannover, II.Teil Seite 41, 53und 84 wird schon der Kriegsrat Jacob Ahrend Pape "von Pape" und "Ritter"und "Edler Herr" genannt. Beantragte Anerkennung des Adels gemäß Diplomvom 15.6.1912
