OBITUARY-Commonwealth Reporter, Fond du Lac, WI - Dated 12-3-1934 FOREST PIONEER RESIDENT DEAD-Mrs. Anna Reitz, 86, Expires At Home Of Son,Jacob, After Illness Mrs. Anna Reitz, 86, widow of Jost Reitz, a resident of the Town ofForest since girlhood, died at 3 p.m. today at the home of her son, JacobReitz, Town of Forest after two years illness. Born March 9, 1848, at Niederdieten, Germany she came to this countrywith her parents at the age of 17, settling in the Town of Forest. Shewas married May 14, 1867, to Mr. Reitz, who died November 16, 1923. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Jacob and Henry of Forest; Mrs.George Hinn of Taycheetah and Mrs. Otto Pfeifer of Forest; eightgrandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the residence andat 1:30 p.m. from St. Pauls Lutheran church in the Town of Forest. TheRev. E. Reim will officiate. urial will be in Forest Cemetery. E. Reim officiating. Pallbearers were Ervin and Roy Hinn, Clarence Pfeifer, Rudolph Reitz,Charles Rhodes and Harold Mueller. The services were largely attended.Burial was at Forest Cemetery.
