Moved to Livonia, MI Nov. 26, 1993 Died in St. Marys Hospital, Livonia, MI from conjestive heart failure,kidney failure and a high potassium level (hyperkalemia) that probablycaused arrythmia of the heart. Obituary - Fond du Lac Reporter - April 11, 1997 Verna Ethel Grunwald, 87, died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at St. MaryHospital in Livonia, Mich., where she had resided since 1993. She wasborn June 4, 1909 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of George Krug and AnnaKinkel Krug. On Sept. 10,1930, she married Raymond Grunwald in Fond duLac. He preceded her in death in 1975, Mr. Grunwald was employed atRueping Leather Company for over 45 years. Mrs. Grunwald was a homemaker. Survivors include her son, Richard and his wife Delores of Livonia,Mich.; two grandchildren, Linda Fisher and her husband Donald ofFarmington Hills, Mich., and Richard and his wife Tracy of South Lyon,Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael and Lynnae Fisher,and Conner Grunwald; her sister, Mildred Billie Roy of Ripon; threesisters-in-law, Ruth Leu, Ruth Grunwald and Geraldine Krug all of Fond duLac. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and twobrothers, David and Ralph Krug. Family funeral services will be held inLivonia, Mich. Burial will be held at Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond duLac. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
