[Krug-Grunwald-Tree.GED] Came to US July 18, 1864 on the ship America from Bremen to New York. OBITUARY- Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 3-14-1911 KRUG-Jacob Krug died at 6 o'clock Monday evening at his home, 276 FourthStreet, following a stroke of paralysis. He had been ill for seven weeks.Mr. Krug was born in Niederdeiten, Hessen Darmstadt, Germany and came toAmerica in 1864. He was employed for some years by the Hamilton andMerriman Lumber Company in Marinette. Later he came to Fond du Lac countyand located in the Town of Forest, where he lived until three years agowhen he came to this city to reside. He leaves a wife and ten childrenwho are: Rev. L.C. Krug and Reuben Krug of NOrth Yakima, Washington; Mrs. W.A.Hulbush and Miss Emma Krig, Cut Bank, Montana, William, Ernest, Mrs. H.P.Glasow and the Misses Amelia and Rose all of this city, the funeral willbe held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday from the residence and at 2 o'clock fromthe St. Peter's Lutheran Church. The Rev. G.E. Bergemann officiating.Internment will be at Rienzi Cemetery. Mr. Krug was apioneer of this place and was held in high esteem.
