[Krug-Grunwald-Tree.GED] OBITUARY-Commonwealth Reporter, Fond du Lac, WI - Dated: 4-2-1953 RURAL RESIDENT OF WAUPUN DIES AFTER SICKNESS Beeno Buchholz Expires In Prison City Hospital At Age Of 72 Benno Buchholz, 76, Waupun, Route 2, died at Waupun Memorial Hospital at9 p.m. Wednesday after several weeks of illness. He had resided with hisdaughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Boelk. Born April 27, 1876, in the Town of Taycheetah, son of Mr. and Mrs. MaxBuchholz, he was married June 6, 1901 to Rose Scherer, Town of Forest.She preceded him in death three years ago. Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Erwin Boelk, and son Arnold ofWaupun; eight grandchildren; a great grandchild; two brothers, Paul ofFond du Lac, and Arthur of Waupun; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Fritz ofCalvary, and Mrs. Clara Scherer of Fond du Lac. Two brothers preceded himn death. The body of Mr. Buchholz will ie in state at Kohl’s Funeral Home, Waupun,after 7 p.m. today and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. will be taken to the St.Luke’s Lutheran Church, Oakfield, WI., to lie in state until the hour ofservices at 2p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Clarence Koepsell. Burialwill be in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield, WI.
