Am 20.06.1522 empfängt Clais von Mirbach, Schwiegersohn von Dietrich von der Hagen vom Statthalter von Geilenkirchen Haus und Hof von Zweibrücken, vorbehaltlich des rechts und Anteils seines Bruders Arret. Hier ist zum ersten Male neben dem Hof/Gut ein Haus erwähnt. Dabei ist unklar, ob es sich um eine Burganlage oder eine Schloss handelte.
Am 10.02.1536 verkauft Symon Scheffler zu Frelenberg als Erbkauf an Clais von Mirbach einen Spliß (=Teil) vom Machartz-Gut in Zweibrücken am Pützbach. Eine Seite lag neben Jakob von Frelenberg und die andere Seite am Mirbachs Gut.
