Brady S. Paris, 15, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. He was born March 23, 1997, in Meadville, a son of Billy and Gina Page Paris. Brady attended Cambridge Springs Elementary School and most recently Saegertown High School. Throughout his life he was able to enjoy many activities such as hippo therapy (horseback riding) at Schaffer Farms and loved going for walks on warm sunny days. He has traveled to Mexico many times and loved his time in the Yucatan Peninsula with family and friends, and particularly on the beach soaking up the sun, flying kites and being carried in the surf. He visited several different ruins down there and the locals looked forward to him returning each year. He particularly enjoyed swimming with the dolphins in Florida where he had the only “dolphin encounter” of his group. He loved anytime he could be in or around his pool and loved being splashed. Most recently, he experienced two weeks of myofacial release therapy in Philadelphia which he seemed to really enjoy. He loved sitting trackside at a demolition derby or a monster truck rally and the sound of a loud motorcycle rumbling next to him always brought a smile to his face. Waldameer was his favorite local attraction and he LOVED the roller coasters and Sea Dragon. He looked forward to movie time with his brother and sister in front of his big TV. One of his favorite activities was to be getting pushed in his wheelchair by his younger brother, Riley, chasing their sister, Charlie, riding a tiny tricycle down the hallway. His smile lit up a room, and his laughter was truly infectious. Brady will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Survivors, in addition to his loving parents, Billy and Gina Paris, include a sister, Charlie Marie Paris at home; a brother, Riley William Paris at home; his maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Lavina Jeane Page of Conneaut Lake; paternal grandfather, William J. Paris of Conneaut Lake; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janet Lee Paris. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. The funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Father Steve Anderson, pastor of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ARC of Crawford County or Crawford County Special Olympics, both at 222 Chestnut St., Meadville, Pa. 16335; or the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1001 State St., Suite 502, Erie, Pa. 16501.
