Rockafellow, Mary Carsten Age 56, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Rockafellow was born November 4, 1958 in Flint the daughter of Frederick and Margaret Carsten. She was a member of St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church and adored her grandchildren. Mary was an administrator and taught at Baker College. Surviving are her husband, Keith Rockafellow, children, Matt Rockafellow and fiancee, Jennifer Veihl, Kate and husband, Alan Burman; grandchildren, Kane Rockafellow and Harlo Roberts; brothers, Michael Carsten and fiancee Kathleen Ruth, Deacon Terry and wife Mary Carsten; sisters, Loretta and husband, William Carnes, Debra McCarry, Anne and husband, Gary Christensen; mother, Linda Carsten. Mrs. Rockafellow was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Margaret Carsten and son, Kurt Rockafellow. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. The family will receive friends 10am Thursday until time of Mass at the church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
