78 years old, of Hickory, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born March 8, 1933 in Brentwood, son of the late Harold Ignatius and Florence Ann Ott Buck. He served in the US Army, during the Korean War as a Teletype Repairman. He worked as an Automotive Fleet Manager for Bell Telephone, and was a laborer for the Pennsylvania Rail Road. Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Obringer Buck, of Hickory; three daughters, Sandy (Steve) Herman of Goode, VA, Becky (John) Dings of Mt. Pleasant, and Debbie (Bud) Powell of Stephenson, VA; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Vargo of North Huntington, Mary Ann (Adam) Brannon of Jeannette, and Andrew and Tyler Powell of Stephenson, VA; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Alyssa, and Joshua Brannon; sister, Jeanne (Donald) Mullen of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by parents; two sons, Steven C. Buck in 2011, and infant son Timothy in 1958; infant brother, Harold Buck. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 10 at the COLEMAN-TAYLOR FUNERAL SERVICES, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt. 50), Cecil, PA, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012, followed by Christian Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, at 10:00 a.m., with Father Stan Gregorek officiating. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 7829 National Pike, Suite 2, Uniontown, PA 15401.
