Jason’s Obituary Jason (Jay) Schnur, 46, left without warning. His outgoing personality, sense of humor and direct truths are now missing for everyone. We could always count on Jay for a dose of reality and a good time. There was never a dull moment with him in the mix. He had a talent for reading a person the moment they met. Jay was always honest, even if you didn’t want him to be. He made friends wherever he went and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a deep passion and talent with creating amazing dishes as a professional chef and at home. Later he moved into a new path working on networks. Jay had an immense appreciation for music with a song for every occasion. He enjoyed playing the guitar and wrote many deeply meaningful songs and always played from the heart. He is dearly missed by his wife of 23 years, Lana, and three deeply loved children, Kaylin (Ina), Devin and Sebastian. Jay has left us to join his grandparents; Robert (Bob) and Carol Schnur, Uncle Bob Schnur and mother-in-law Marcy Fuchs. Until we meet again, I Love You. The family of Jay will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 4-6 p.m., at the Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina.
