Joann Marie (Sichra) Starits, 66, of Toledo and formerly of Chelsea, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following an extended illness. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chelsea by Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 – 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine where there will be Rosary and Vigil services starting at 5:30 PM.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth; daughters, Suzanne Garcia/Youngman (Jon Rosenberg) of Cedar Falls, Kathy Starits (Sarah Tayloe) of Dubuque, Sandy (Stephen) Brewer of Toledo, Jenny (Ricardo) Mora-Starits of Marshalltown; sisters, Julie (Joe) Aldridge and Janet (Chuck) Anderson, both of Tama; brother, Joe (Sharon) Sichra of Waterloo; also by ten grandchildren.
