Ochs, Harrison Alexander 'H' Harry 95, passed away peacefully December 28, 2017, in Oxford, MS. A long-time Kirkwood resident, Harrison was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Etta Ochs, daughter Gwen Garrett, and five siblings: Laura Bolte, Charles Ochs, Col. Henry Ochs, Ret., Lilburn Ochs and Juanita Dickinson. Dear Father of Monte (Marianna) Ochs, Grandfather of Katie Ochs and Patrick (Jaime) Ochs; GreatGrandfather of Alexandria Ochs. Member of St. Louis Carpenter's Union. Life Member of VFW and Fifty Year Member of American Legion. Long-time Volunteer for Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center Spinal Cord Unit. Instrumental in fund-raising for many Veteran's groups. Arranged United States Coast Guard Reunions for decades. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Friday, January 5, 12 Noon. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Louis Fisher House, #1 Jefferson Barracks Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125. Visitation Thursday, January 4, 4-8 p.m. with American Legion 10th District Guard of Honor service at 7:00 p.m.
