CENIA MARIE WILLIS Mrs. Willis, 80, of Toledo, OH, made her transition from this life, Saturday, December 30, 2017, in her home. She was employed 39 1/2 years with the Toledo Board of Education. Mrs. Willis was educated in the Utica, MS School System and earned aBachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. Her professional affiliations included CBTU, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Lucas County Democratic Party, NAACP, and Democratic Women in Action. She was a longtime member of the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church andserved in numerous capacities, most recently as the secretary of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by daughter, Candace Willis, and is survived by husband, Nathan Willis, Sr.; son, Nathan (Martha Jude) Willis, Jr.; daughter, Charssie Willis; grandchildren, Phillip and Priscella Willis; great-grandchildren, Shamayia and Harley Willis; brother, O'Fell Harris of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Archie Young of Jackson, MS, Dorothy Harris and Shirley (Donald) Demerson of Houston,TX, Elaine Ventress and Sandra Patterson of Baton Rouge, LA, Bobbie Harris-King of Holland, OH. A Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1401 Hoag Street 43607. Funeral services will be at theMt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
