The U.S. Census for 1900 (enumerated June 7), Eight ward Fond du Lac City, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin shows: William age 73 (born December 1826) a gardener, wife Augusta age 67 (Born April 1832), daughters: Pauline age 28 (born June 1871 a cook, Francis age 24 (born November 1876) a tobacco stripper. Both daughters were single and the parents had been married for 47 years. The daughters were born in Wisconsin, bot parents and their parents were born in Germany. It is noted that all could read/write English. Augusta had 11 children which eight were living. The family was in Dwelling #272 (50 East 13th street). At the Estabrooks cemtery lookfor a small(abt 18 inch high) brown stone that of Helen R. Meyer b)5/24/1903, d) 8/28/1903 Wilhelm and Augusta Schultz are buried on both sides of her.
