1 Details: Don E. "Brownie" Brown Family-Placed Obituary BROWN, Don E. "Brownie" Don E. "Brownie" Brown passed away at his home in Fairfield on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at 2:07 a.m. to his home in Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Don was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 9, 1935, the son of Earl W. and Evelyn (Annen) Brown. He was employed at Champion Paper for thirty-eight years, retiring in January 1997. He then worked part time at UTS, where he had a wonderful UTS family that he loved. Don was a United States Marine veteran, serving in Korea. He was a member of Hamilton West Baptist Church and had a love for the New Life Baptist Mission of Hamilton. On May 21, 1960, at Western Avenue Baptist Church, he married Eva Seals. They were blessed with two children and five grandchildren. He leaves his family so many precious and happy memories. Don is survived by his wife, Eva; daughter, Kimberly and her husband Perry Workman of Fairfield; son, Kevin Brown of Fairfield; five grandchildren whom he dearly loved and enjoyed, Kady, Colton, Courtney, Cody, and Carly; a brother, Jon A. and his wife Jo Ann Brown of Panama City, Florida; step-sister, Gloryanna Simon of Hamilton; step-brother, Albert and his wife Mary Ellen Cole of South Carolina; nephew, Jon A. Brown of Centerville, Ohio and Robert Brown of Washington D.C.; his mother-in-law, Viola Seals Unland of Hamilton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gene and Daisydean Seals of Hamilton and Pearl and Floyd Garner of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his mother and father. Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. with special longtime friend Rev. Ronald Stewart officiating, assisted by Rev. David Williams. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
