1 Details: KREAMER — LeRoy E. Otto, 79, of Kreamer, passed from this life with his wife and three daughters by his side at 12:47 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Abington, a son of the late LeRoy H. and Bertha J. (Winn) Otto. He was married in 1955 to the former Nancy Jean Scholl who preceded him in death in 1997. In 2000, he married Carolyn Arlene (Bingaman) Emery who survives. LeRoy attended Selinsgrove High School and from 1954 to 1974 served in the Air Force where he taught chemical and biological warfare. Following his military career he was employed by Paulsen Wire Rope, Sunbury, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of Mount Bethel Church, McClure, the Free and Accepted Mason Lodge 194, and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 222, both of Selinsgrove. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 25, Selinsgrove, where he served on the honor guard, the DH&L Fire Company, Selinsgrove, the Kreamer Volunteer Fire Company where he was a fire police captain, a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest 65, Sunbury, past grand Tall Cedar in 2001, the Williamsport Consistory-Scottish Rite, and earlier in his life he had been active with Boy Scout Troop 19, Selinsgrove. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Fred Troutman and Sharon and Bruce Gibbs, all of Selinsgrove, and Debra and Tony Wenrich, of Kreamer; six stepchildren and their spouses, Robert and Denise Emery, of Winfield, Dennis and Valerie Emery, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Susan Allamong, of South Carolina, Brenda Heiser, of Sunbury, Elizabeth and Ed Mull, of Sunbury, and Sandra and Robert Suloff, of Northumberland; five grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; . He was preceded in death by a half brother, William Harry Otto. Friends and family will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, with Masonic Lodge 194 conducting a memorial service at 2, followed by the funeral with the Rev. John J. D’Esterhazy officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 25 and V.F.W. Post 6631, both of Selinsgrove. Private burial will be in Grubb’s Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills. The Daily Item,
