After his time in the service he bought property in the Town of Greenwood where they built a farm. Otto and Anne started with dairy and later, also did beef and honey bee’s until 2008. He also did logging during this time. He was an avid deer hunter. Otto enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music and playing the accordion. Otto also loved to pick his tame raspberries.
