Details: Henry Becker Age: 92 Sep 8, 2005 0 Henry Arthur Becker, 92, Medford, died Aug. 30, 2005, at Memorial Health Center. He was born June 19, 1913, to Albert and Lena (Ruebsamon) Becker in Sommer. In 1919, he moved with his family to the township of Greenwood where he attended rural schools. He served two years in the Civilian Conservation Corps. and worked in the woods. He married the former Minnie Green in 1938 and they moved to the township of Goodrich. He farmed and worked at Hurd Millwork until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by Minnie, his wife of 67 years; by one son Robert (Judy), Nairne, Australia; by one daughter Judy (Dick) Dehne, Medford; by one brother Otto (Ann), Medford; by five grandchildren, Annette, Celeste and Brian (Biki) Becker, all of Australia; Heather (Dean) Woellner, Merrill, and Page Vlach, Rib Lake; by four great-grandchildren Maesyn Vlach, Cole, Casie and Cody Woellner; and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister Elsie (Ralph) Smock.
