1 Details: Sophie S. Becker 1923 - 2018 Sophie S. Becker, 94, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Hospice Alliance, Inc./Hospice House. Sophie was born in Kenosha on Sept. 9, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Bernice (Kleszczewski) Nietupski. She was united in marriage to Clifford Becker Sr. on Sept. 12, 1942. After 25 years of marriage, he preceded her in death. Sophie was an employee with AMC/Chrysler Corporation, retiring after 30 years of dedication. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the previous St. Casimir Catholic Church. Sophie was a slot machine enthusiast and she enjoyed spinning the wheels on the Double Diamond machines. She loved her family and was proud of their many accomplishments. She is survived by her children, Judy (Darold) Frederick, Clifford Becker Jr., Sharon (Jerry) Stevens, Donald (Linda) Becker, Gene (Marianne) Becker, Audrey (Edward) Zellner; her grandchildren, Mike, Diane, Shelley, Trish, Wally, Jackie, Tina, Donnie Jr., Bob and Charlie, Kim, Nicole, Jessica, Douglas, Sheila and Clifford III; her twenty great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Marlene Binninger; and niece Pat Belotti. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Becker Sr.; three grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Dylan and Scotty; and her siblings, Mary, Chet, Jane, Helen and Joe. Funeral Services honoring Sophie's life will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th St. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Sophie's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Neil Shepler, for the exceptional care and support he provided.
