1 Details: Mrs. Marie A. Fechner Mrs. Marie A. Fechner, 65, 4056 31st Ave., died at St. Catherine Hospital Tuesday afternoon following a short illness. She was born in Harvard, Ill., on Nov. 24, 1906, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank 1 Dewey. She received her education in the schools of Harvard, Ill., moving to Kenosha in 1921. On Nov. 28, 1942, she married Edward C. Fechner, who preceded her in death on March 9, 1972. MN. Fectne was employed by the Simmons Co. for 28 years. Mr. and Mrs. Fechner also owned and operated Super Bar for seven years. She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church. Survivors include one stepson, Edward E. Fechner, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Marvin (Crystal) Van Tine, both of Kenosha; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by eight brothers and three sisters, Clifford and Warren Dewey of Glenview, Ill.; Burtic, Willard and Adrian Dewey, all of Harvard, Ill.; Earl Dewey of Love Park, Ill.; Eugene Dewey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Ralph Dewey of Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Casmier (Florence) Seymour of Glenview, Ill.; and Mrs. Mary Colby and Mrs. Clio Fechner, both fo Kenosha. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Geraldine Crawford, on May 26, 1971. Clipped from Kenosha News July 26, 1972
