Claire C. Faulkner 1929 - 2014 Claire C. Faulkner, 85, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at United Hospital Systems-KMCC. Claire was born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Black River Falls to Herbert and Helen (Avery) Faulkner and he graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1947. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean Conflict stationed in Okinawa. On Dec. 12, 1953, he was united in marriage to Grace Arndt at the Immanuel Methodist Church in Kenosha. Claire worked for John Manville until he got the opportunity to become the first apprentice electricians at AMC. He worked for over 32 years as an elecrician until his retirement in 1988. He was a life member of the VFW Post #1865 and for over 50 years as a member of the Masonic Lodge #343. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist for over 60 years. Claire went to the gym at the hospital every morning for his routine and he loved traveling, going to every continent except Antarctica. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Don Scott Faulkner and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ruth and Richard Stiles. Claire is survived by his wife of 61 years, Grace of Pleasant Prairie; two children, Jackie (Kenneth) Cimon of Henderson, Nev., and Tom Faulkner of Pleasant Prairie; three grandchildren, Jamie Allen, Scott Faulkner and Payton Gardner; two great grandchildren, Breauna and Raykn Allen; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Claire will be held at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Methodist Church (5410-Sheridan Road) on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, with interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Sunday at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
