John J. Iorio, Sr., of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009, at his residence. He was 57. Born on October 29, 1952, in Kenosha, the son of Dominick and Ann (Parola) Iorio, he was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He was employed by Abbott Laboratories for over 13 years, retiring in 2002. He attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and was a member of the USGA, a Golf Ranger at Bristol Oaks Golf Course. John loved playing golf. Surviving are his two children, Tina Crittenden of Paddock Lake and John (Maranda) Iorio, Jr. of Kenosha; his mother, Ann Iorio of Kenosha; a brother, Thomas (Joan) Iorio of Kenosha; a sister, Patricia (Walt) Vincent of Gurnee, IL; his four grandchildren, Jason, James, Ceara and Wyatt; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dominick Iorio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Mt. Carmel Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
