Max Ludwig Max Ludwig, 60, 1926 21st St., died Friday at Bayfield County Hospital in Washburn, Wis. He was born May 31, 1920 in Kenosha, the son of Victor and Olga (Nitsch) Ludwig. He married Arlene Jacob on May 12, 1945 in Immanuel Meth- (kjist Church He was a veter- an of World War Il, serving in the LUDWIG U. S. Army from November of 1941 until April of 1945. He was a staff sergeant in Europe and received the Purple Heart. He was a machinist at Snap-on Tools Corp. from 1940 until he re- tired in 1965. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church, VFW Junker-Ball Post 1865, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans Post 20, Military Order of the Cootie, American Legton of Wood, Wis., and a life member of BVA Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Gayle) Weber, Kenosha, two grand- children; two brothers, John and Joseph D. Ludwig, both of Kenosha, and four sisters, Mrs. Albert (Ann) Fetzer, Wilmette, Ill.; Mrs. George (Emma) Stone, Mrs. Eugene (Olga) Zak and Martha A. Ludwig, all of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Otto and Victor
