1 | Details: Fred Hartkopf, Sr., 72, Dies at Hospital Fred Hartkopf, Sr., 72, 6032 44th Ave., died suddenly at the Kenosha hospital Sunday night. Born in Germany, Jan. 28, 1883. son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl J. Hartkopf, he married Miss Ida Becker, Jan 5, 1907. They came to Kenosha in 1924. Hartkopf had been employed by Nash Motors for 24 years, retiring in 1954. and was a member of the Christian Assembly. Survivors are two sons and two daughters, Fred, Jr., Detroit; Carl. Wauwatosa; Mrs. Bernard Weinbrenner, Kenosha; and Mrs. Siegfried Kaiser, Skokie, Ill.; four brothers and a sister, all in Germany; seven grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
