Details: Erwin B. Becker 1921 - 2018 Erwin B. Becker, 96, of Gilman, formerly of Kenosha, went home to the Arms of God, Monday, May 21, 2018, at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. He was born on Oct. 25, 1921, to the late Robert and Augusta Becker in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. On January 21, 1948, he married Phyllis Brine in Kenosha. She preceded him in death in 2001. Erwin worked on the family farm with his father and brother for many years. He worked for Northwestern Railroad, drove semi-tractor trailer over the road for Skokie Produce and was a part time mechanic all while working at AMC/Chrysler in repair for 35 years, retiring in 1981. Erwin was a born-again Christian who lived his faith throughout his life. Erwin enjoyed model trains, fishing, hunting, going to auctions, repairing clocks, a horseman, playing his harmonica, watching westerns and an amateur jack-of-all-trades. Erwin is survived by his daughters Nancy Freitag, Betty Becker and Cynthia Morris all of Kenosha, his 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and his dog Skipper. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter Jacqueline Hernandez, a grandson Bryan Freitag, a great grandson Skyler Freitag, three brothers and eight sisters. Funeral Services for Erwin will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
