Info. 847-234-0022 Robert Becker OBITUARIES Lake Forester (Lake Forest, IL) - Thursday, October 7, 1999 Robert Becker, 85, a resident of Lake Forest for over 50 years, died Sept. 25, 1999 in Libertyville. Mr. Becker was born March 29, 1914 in Emmershausen, Germany. He emigrated with his family to Kenosha, Wis, in 1925. After his marriage, he moved to Jackson, Mich. and went into business with his brothers as National Machine and Tools. Mr. Becker served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In 1950 he came to Lake Forest to work for Knauz Motor Sales as Sales Manager and worked their until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Lions Club and the American Legion Post 264 in Lake Forest. Survivors include his wife, Martha; his daughters, Diana Becker of Lake Forest and Nancy (Gordon) Pratt of Libertyville; and his brother, Richard Becker of Jackson. He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at Wenban Funeral Home.
