| 1 | Details: Eugene P. Vedder Sr. Eugene P. Vedder Sr., 87, 5807 40th Ave., died Monday (Nov. 8, 1993) at his home. The son of the late Adolf and Maria J. Ved der, he was born on Oct. 8, 1906, in Berg neustadt, Ger many, and at tended schools there. He moved VeOOee from Germany to the United States in April 1928 and became a U.S. citizen in 1940. On Jan. 8, 1935, he married Ida Becker in Kenosha. She died on Dec. 26, 1976. On Dec. 1, 1978, he married Hanny Dopper in Kenosha. Before retiring at age he was employed by American Motors Corp. He previously had served an apprenticeship with a wholesale grocery bus ness in Wuppertal, Germany. He was active as a member of the Christian Assembly, Kenosha. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Eugene P. Jr., St. Louis, Richard J., Buffalo Grove, Ill., John D., Houston, and Harvey B., Mechanics. burg, Penn.; a stepson, Hans. Joachim Meyer, Sinspert, Ger. many; a sister, Kathe Schro- der, Bristol; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step. great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Martin, Adolf and Herbert, also pre- ceded him in death. The Hansen Anneral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
