1 Details: Richard M. Bullock Richard M. "Dick" Bullock, 77, of Kenosha, died Wednesday (Nov. 26, 2003) at Hospice Alliance—Hospice House. Born in Evansville, Wis. on Oct.6, Richard M. Bullock 1926, he was the son of the late Fred and Gladys (Russell) Bullock. He moved to Kenosha as a young boy and attended Washington Junior High School, and was a 1946 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He graduated from Janesville School of Vocational and Adult Education with a diploma in aircraft maintenance. He served in the U.S. Navy from Oct. 19, 1944, to June 30, 1946. An aviation metalsmith third class, he was stationed at Naval Air Station, St. Louis, and Air Transportation Squadron 12, and was awarded the American Area Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Area Ribbon, and World War Il Victory Ribbon. He married Barbara Eddy on Jan. 22, 1983, at the Kemper Center Chapel. During the 1950s he worked at Rahr Malting Co. in Manitowoc, Wis., in the aircraft maintenance department, and during the 1960s he worked for Out- board Marine Corp. in Waukegan, Ill. For more than 20 years, he worked at American Motors and Chrysler Corp., retiring in •1989 as a quality control tech nician. He then worked part time in the early 1990s at Hillside Hardware Store. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Kenosha, several railroad historical groups, and the Kenosha Senior Citizens Center and its wood- carving club. He was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and briefly with the Retired and Senior .Volunteer Program. He was an avid Packers fan and a locomqtive and train enthusiast. He also enjoyed woodcarving, specifically fig- urines and caricatures, and reading books about trains and the Civil War. Surviving are his wife of Kenosha; a son, James (Carol) Bullock of Mequon, Wis.; a daughter, Susan Smith of Kenosha; three stepsons, Donald (Cindy) Stichert of Abilene, Texas, Dou glas (Lisa) Stichert of Island Lake, Ill., and David Huchthausen of Kenosha; a stepdaughter, Catherine (David) Pierce of Kenosha; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra (Ebener) Bullock. Bruch Funeral Home is coordinating funeral arrangements. Kenosha News 29.11.2003
