| 1 | Details: Obituary for Doris E. Swartz Doris E. Swartz, Age 94, of Burlington, passed away at her home on Monday, June 4, 2012. Doris was born on June 17, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN, to the late John A. and Theresea E. Ostrom. She moved with her parents to Kenosha where she graduated Kenosha High School. On December 27, 1945 in Kenosha, Doris was united in marriage to Arthur J. Swartz, after his return from WWII. They had been married for 67 years. Doris and Art moved to Rochester in 1968. She became a realtor and worked in that profession into her early 80’s. Doris joined Cross Lutheran Church when she moved to the area and had remained an active member. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur Swartz, her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Jo Swartz, grandchildren; Elizabeth Etchells, John Swartz and Mickey Swartz and by great-grandchildren; Milo and Felix Etchells. Cemetery: Burial will take place on Thursday, at 1:30 PM at Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha. Visitation: Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the CHURCH on Thursday, from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Service: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Carolyn Sellers officiating.
