Fabian J. Forbes Fabian J. Forbes, 83, 7735 128th Ave., Bristol, died Monday afternoon (Feb. 25, 1985) at Kenosha Memorial Hospital. The son of the late Frederick and Anna (Zinke) Forbes, he was born Dec. 3, 1901 in Portage. He attended school in Portage before moving to Madison, and came to Kenosha in 1916. On May 29, 1924, in Waukegan, Ill., he married Ethel Cober. She died sept. 2, 1959 He was chairman of the Kenosha County Commission on Aging and was past president of the Kenosha Senior Citizens Council. He was a past president of Electrical Workers Union Lo- cal 127 and United Steel Workers of America Local 9322. A union member for 53 years, he was an honorary member for the past 14 years and active with the Local 9322 Retirees Club A former engineer, he had been employed at the erhouse of Arco, Metals Co. (Anaconda American Brass). He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Southport Lodge M3 F&AM, Washburn Lodge 145 F&AM, Bristol, Kenosha Chapter 3 R.A.M. Kenosha Council 33 R.&S.M. York Rite Bodies, Kenosha Com- mandery No. 30, Knights Templar, Tripoli Temple Shrine of Milwaukee and the Kenosha Shrine Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Lorraine) Galster, Bristol; a brother, Walter, Kenosha; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Frederick, three brothers, Frank, Claude and Wilford, and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Keitel and Mrs. Florence Smith. The Bruch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
