She had several siblings including; Catherine Ann Dobson Guinn (1812-1865) Married to Jacob Weaver Addington September 1840 in North Carolina, she and Jake moved to Randolph County, AL prior to 1850, and there born to them were three children: Harriet Mountoria Addington (Dec 7, 1851 - March 10, 1935) Jacob "Walter" Addington (March 3, 1855 - December 27, 1909), h/o Samantha Murphree (1861-1937) Elijah "Bert" (E.B.S.) Addington (1859-1933), h/o Mary L. Pollard (1862-1962), h/o M.A. Turner Mashburn Prior to the War Between the States, the Addingtons lived in Rockdale, AL which is north-northeast of Wedowee in Randolph County. Sometime during or after the war (before 1870) they moved in close proximity to her parents, in the vicinity of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church and Wildcat Creek, just south of Wedowee. Eventually Jake and Mary Louisa moved to Blount County near their children and, by 1891, Jake was granted a 160-acre plot in Blount County. Jake preceded Mary in death in 1898; she passed away March 13, 1900.
