NICKLAS CLARENCE E. "NICK" NICKLAS, 74, of Parma, beloved husband of 50 years of Lois P. Nicklas (nee Liebert); loving father of Laura Hine (Mark); "Grandpa Sweetness" to Jessica and Michael Hine;dear brother of Charles Nicklas (Diana); brother-in-law of Clarice Blaich (Russ) and Denis Liebert (Kathleen, deceased); son of the late Clarence Nicklas, Sr. and Wanda Nicklas (nee Salmonski); uncleof many. "Nick" worked for many years at Ohio-Nuclear, Inc. and Technicare Corp., Cleveland. He passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011. Memorial service at the funeral home Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 2:45p.m. The family will receive friends at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE RD., PARMA, FROM 12 NOON UNTIL THE TIME OF THE MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 2:45 P.M. SUNDAY.
Clarence Edward "Nick" Nicklas, age 74, of Parma, beloved husband of 50 years of Lois P. Nicklas (nee Liebert); loving father of Laura Hine (Mark) of Parma; "Grandpa Sweetness" to Jessica and Michael Hine; dear brother of Charles Nicklas (Diana) of San Diego, California; brother in law of Clarice Blaich (Russ) of Medina, Ohio and Denis Liebert (Kathleen, deceased) of Cleveland, Ohio; son of thelate Clarence Nicklas, Sr. and Wanda Nicklas (nee Salmonski). "Nick" was a 1955 graduate of Cleveland West Technical High School and worked for nearly 30 years at Ohio-Nuclear, Inc. and Technicare Corp. in Cleveland. He was a machinist who helped develop diagnostic imaging equipment and participated in the grass roots development of the now billion dollar industry led by Johnson & Johnson, G.E. and other manufacturers. He was a long-time member of the former Fourth Reformed Church in Cleveland at West 32nd Street and Woodbridge Avenue where he was a choir member. Nick dearly loved and enjoyedthe company of his family, and his dog. He was a dog lover who also enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and ballroom dancing. He passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Memorial service at the funeral home on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 2:45 P.M. The family will receive friends at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, from 12:00 Noon until the time of the memorial service at 2:45 P.M. on Sunday, July 17.
