TOD: OBIT - Sophie Pritzl Geiger - MHTR - from Agnes Birringer - 3/01 Mrs John Geiger, 48 (above), of Brillion, died Monday afternoon at St. Vincent hospital in Green Bay, Born Sophie Pritzl, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Pritzl of Whitelaw in 1902 she spent her early life in the village. For many years she was chief telephone operator in the Whitelaw exchange. She was married to John Geiger in 1927 and they have since resided in Brillion. She was a member of the ChristianMothers and Catholic Knights. Survivors are her husband; a daughter Lenora and two sons, (LeRoy and Kenneth of Brillion; brother, Frank of Manitowoc: three sisters, Mrs. Ray Barta, Mrs. Joseph Nemetz and Mrs. Raleigh Surge of Manitowoc. There will be a solemn requiem high mass at 9:30 am. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic church in Brillion, following a brief service at 9 o'clock at the Luecker funeral home, Brillion. The Revs. Hubert Scherer, Alfred Pritzl and Hubert Kleiber will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
