am 04.08.1868 in St. Peter zum Priester geweiht, seit 1876 Pfarrer in Weilersbach bei Villingen. Er verfaßte ein Schriftsystem für Mundarten und hinterließ wertvolle volkskundliche Aufzeichnungen (vgl. Pfarrchronik St. Peter, 1992, S. 140 f.).
