Mary Margaret SEUBERT

The Observer-Dispatch Obituaries, Friday, November 19, 2004 Mary M. Wuest of Marcy Mary M. Wuest, 88, of Marcy, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at the Abraham House, Utica, with her loving family and friends by her side. Mary was born in Utica on March 1, 1916, a daughter of George A. and Mary Helen (Ella) Falk Seubert. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and the Utica School of Commerce. At Sacred Heart Church, Utica, on April 29, 1940, Mary married Ralph M. Wuest. Mr. Wuest passed away on September 28, 2002. For 24 years, until her retirement in 1977, Mary was employed with the Whitesboro School System. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro, and the Legion of Mary, and volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile and Meals on Wheels. Mary is survived by her son, Russell Wuest of Marcy; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Philip Sales of Cleveland, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Nancy (Zurek) Wuest, Kirtland, OH; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathleen Owens, New Hartford, Agnes Hellenbrand, Cross Plains, WI, and Betty and Bill Quinn, Washington Mills; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Delores Seubert, New Hartford, and Louis and Delores Seubert, Utica. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by three brothers, George, Robert and Joseph Seubert; and two sisters, Helen Seubert and Claire Ehlinger. Mrs. Wuest's funeral will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2004, at 8:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, and at 9:30 from St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday (Today) from 4 to 7 p.m. Please omit flowers; memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Inc., the Abraham House, or St. Paul's Church Memorial Fund. Mary's family would like to extend their appreciation to Hospice, especially Dawn, Lisa and Susanne, and the staff and volunteers of Abraham House for the wonderful care and comfort given to Mary and her family during her illness and passing.
