Raymond M. Seubert, 90, of New Hartford, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2004. Raymond was born in Utica on July 25, 1914, the son of George A. and Mary H. Falk Seubert and received his education in the Utica School System. In Utica on August 30, 1947, he married Dolores M. Cain in Sacred Heart Church. Raymond was employed by Hahn's Photo, Durr Packing Co. and he retired from the Partlow Corp. He was a World War II veteran and served with the 4th Infantry Division and took part in the D-Day invasion at Normandy. Raymond received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, European Theatre Ribbon with four Battle Stars and one Arrowhead, a Presidential Citation and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Church, New Hartford, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, VFW Post 9591, National 4th Infantry Division Assoc., American Legion Post 1376, and Teamsters Local #182. Raymond is survived by his wife, Delores; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathleen Owens, Agnes Hellenbrand, and Elizabeth and William Quinn; and a brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Dolores Seubert. He is also survived by three godchildren and several nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by three brothers, George, Robert and Joseph Seubert; and three sisters, Helen Seubert, Claire Ehlinger and Mary Wuest. Mr. Seubert's funeral will be held on Monday, November 22, 2004, at 12:15 p.m. from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, and at 1:00 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Whitestown.
