Left Sweden April 1892, arrived Essex, Iowa summer of 1892. Boyhood and adult life spent in southwest Iowa. WW I veteran Member American Legion, VFW Malvern Iowa Methodist church, Eastern Star, President of Malvern Cemetery Association. Took Particular pride in compiling graves registration book which he presented to the Malvern Library. Died at his own hand.
