Happened on this obit for Ralph Corson and thought you might like it for your family tree. v/e Cara (I am not related) v/r Cara Choteau Acantha (MT), 24 Feb 1938 Son of Early-Day Editor Dies Monday Ralph Corson, 51, son of Schuyler Corson, an early day printer and publisher in Choteau, passed away Monday at the Choteau hospital where he had been a patient for three months. Corson had been in failing health for a number of years. He was born at Sun River, May 18, 1886 and spent practically all his life in Teton county, coming here with his parents when about a year and a half old. Growing to manhood, he followed ranching and worked for various stockmen and sheepmen in Teton county. He also had a homestead on Battle creek, in the vicinity of Frazier ranch on Deep creek. Mr. Corson was not married. His parents passed away a number of years ago and they and several brothers and sisters were buried in the Choteau cemetery. The survivors include a brother, George, and three sisters, two of whom are Mrs. Hugo Horst of Missoula, and Mrs. Nellie Van Kulken of Great Falls. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the chapel of the Roberts Funeral home with the Rev. B.M. Alstad officiating. Interment was in Choteau cemetery beside the remains of the parents.
