Friedrich Kilian *14 Feb 1812 had four children. The eldest was a son, also named Friedrich, and being the eldest he inherited the place at Landwehrhagen and worked together with his father. For his circumstances he was considered good at calculation, so the congregation appointed him as bookkeeper. He was taller and heavier than either his father or brother, August. The second son was August. The third child was a daughter, Louise, who remained single, stayed much at home and lived with her father and brother, Friedrich. The fourth child was a son, Heinrich, who grew to be a handsome fellow with good physique, was blond and with blue eyes, as were all Kilians in Landwehrhagen, Heinrich worked together with his father and brother in the forest; and also was obliged to serve three years in the military service. He bought a home in Landwehrhagen, but died in the flowerof his life from a throat affliction. Surviving him were his wife, two sons and one daughter. Dora Frieling Kilian
