er arbeitete als Knecht auf dem Stehlmannschen Hof und übernahm etwa 1947-1949 den Erbhof der Bornhuses in Abbendorf, da seine beiden Brüder im Kriege gefallen waren. Sein damaliges Haus liegt am Ortsausgang von Gr. Wieblitz nach Tylsen als letztes Gehöft auf der rechten Seite und ist jetzt (2015) verfallen.
