<p>"Auguste Louisa" is derived from Baltimore Passenger List and military records for Gottleib. Apparently she was referred to as "Louise" or "Louisa" most commonly.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>1870 US Census</p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Louisa, 40, lives in Pike Twp., Brown Co., (Feesburg PO) with some of her children except Herman and Gustoph. Herman lives with his father, Gottlieb, in Cincinnati where they work in a carpentry shop, along with Gottleib's brother, my ancestor, Louis. Children, Loui, 13, Adam, 10, and Joseph, 8, attend school. Edward, 6, Sophia, 5, and Lizzie, 2, are at home. Louisa's family lives next to Theodore, who is Gotlieb's eldest brother, and his family, including the patriarch, Henry, 76.
