Mit ihm war 1935 die dritte Generation in das Unternehmen eingetreten. Von 1939 bis 1945 wird Eberspächer in die Rüstungsproduktion integriert, beschäftigt auch Zwangsarbeiter. Im Krieg werden erstmals auch Flugzeugmotorenteile hergestellt.
