Auf der Suche nach seinen Vorfahren habe ich zusammen mit meinem Forscherfreund Heinz Engler aus Chemnitz, sehr viele Schmatz zusammen getragen.
  • Zu den Verbindungen der Schmatz aus Ehrenfriedersdorf bis zu den Schmatz in und um St. Katharinaberg, finden sich Infos beo Wofgang Schmatz (Schmatzner) * 1494 aus Ehrenfriedersdorf.
