  • Beschreibung Schmatz - Schmotz - Smacz usw. Aus Bayern, Sachsen und Böhmen. Meine eigennen Vorfahren sind die des Ahnhereen Matthes Schmatz, geb. um 1545, Richter in Obergeorgenthal. Auf der Suche nach seinen Vorfahren habe ich zusammen mit meinem Forscherfreund Heinz Engler aus Chemnitz, sehr viele Schmatz zusammen getragen.
  • Zu den Verbindungen der Schmatz aus Ehrenfriedersdorf bis zu den Schmatz in und um St. Katharinaberg, finden sich Infos beo Wofgang Schmatz (Schmatzner) * 1494 aus Ehrenfriedersdorf.
