He was a retired tile setter and served in the U.S. Navy as Seaman Fist Class during World War II and also served in Japan. He is survived by his wife, Natalie; and daughters, Deborah Cooper of Henderson, and Peggy Sue Treadway of Temecula, Calif.</span></p>
